This Thursday (September 10, 2020) we [Roar Media] are hosting our online half day Digital Workforce Innovation Conference, which will feature presentations, live interviews and panel session discussions offering a deep dive into deploying & maintaining a productive, secure and agile digital workplace. Attendance to the event is complimentary, offering the opportunity for all to learn from our expert speakers and for networking opportunities with C-level technologists to discuss the future of end user computing.
The event will commence at 9:00 with our opening keynote a discussion on keeping businesses safe whilst working from home. This will be delivered by Alex Lancee, Chrome Enterprise Lead for Benelux at Google Chrome Enterprise. He will discuss the need to secure all devices, company and customer data within the evolving world of remote working. Why it is important to have a centrally managed remote ecosystem for the protection of your employees and your customers whilst simultaneously allowing for a productive workforce through seamless collaboration and cloud access to applications & information.
We will then move onto an interview with Asher Lake, Lead Automation Centre of Excellence at KLM. Asher was a keynote presenter for our Digital Transformation Conference in November 2019 where he gave us an insight into how digital transformation is shaping the future look & function of KLM. Through this interview we will explore how KLM adapted to the pandemic through their digital workplace and how they looked to champion remote work, employee experience & engagement whilst maintaining a secure, efficient and managed ecosystem. Looking at where KLM were before the pandemic with their employee infrastructure, how this accelerated through Covid-19 and their plans for the future of hybrid working.
Michael Wheeler-Wyatt, EMEA Head of Chrome Enterprise will then discuss how their Chrome Devices were deployed to remote workers quickly at Third Bridge and the innovations this led to within the way they work. Paul Driscoll, Head of Business Systems at Third Bridge will be discussing the end-to-end journey with Chrome, the ease of implementation, benefits and what the future holds. Including a rapid roll out of Chrome Books globally whilst maintaining business proficiency, the upskilling of staff and reduction in IT costs.
Kenneth Lindegaard, Vice President, End User Enablement & Productivity at IKEA, will be the last keynote of our morning session with an inspiring story of how IKEA remotely empowered 16,500 co-workers. Kenneth will share the IKEA story of their ‘outside in transformation’ that started well before the pandemic began and has allowed them to thrive during. The presentation will touch on how, and why, IKEA moved away from legacy systems to drive co-worker experiences and also the modernization of devices and how that can be essential to success. A great case study to be told on the success story and challenges faced by IKEA.
