Chris Towers, Founder & Head of Events, Roar Media
It’s now been six months since we were forced to move all our global events online, at this point we would have gone live in London twice, New York, Amsterdam, Berlin, Singapore and Sydney. It’s incredibly unfortunate that live in-person events will be off limits for the next 6 months but it’s a reality the events industry have to accept and improving online experiences is now the focus. We are constantly learning and adapting in this new environment and feel our online event offerings will continue to get better and the outward production improving.
We’ve now gone live for three UK based events (time-zone wise) and a European event in partnership with Google Chrome Enterprise. Our online event platform has evolved a huge amount and we are now putting in place more features and interactivity to enhance the delegate experience. The agendas now feature presentations with live Q&A sessions allowing audience participation, live interviews (moving away from slide decks on continuous rotation) and live panel sessions addressing the business concerns that are relevant right now, of which there are many!
Upcoming events for the event series include three events across October and November with three different geography focus areas; Europe, North America and the APAC region. Whilst the agendas will feature global spanning organisations the focus will be on speakers from those areas and delivered live on a time zone most suited for those areas (CEST, EST & SST).
Registration remains free for all our online events and you can register using the links below. Agendas and full speaker line ups will usually be announced around a week away from the event, this is down to increased schedule limitations for speakers etc so we confirm timings closer to the time to provide more accurate schedules.
Our next event comes on October 7 & 8, our European Conference and runs on a CEST time zone. You can register here.
Next up is our North American Conference on October 28 & 28 and runs on an EST time zone. You can register here.
Our final stop for the 2020 online series will be our APAC Region Conference on November 25 & 26. You can register here.
