March 8th marks International Women’s Day, a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women all around the world. Here at Roar Media we have always been firm advocates and supporters of women in tech and the enterprise as we represent this sector largely in many of our event and media outputs. We have held ‘Women in Tech’ panel sessions since 2016 (our inception) through our Tech for Britain conferences and held since 2016 firm policy on ensuring our event stages have equal representation of brilliant businesswomen of which there are plenty! We have worked with organisations like the Tech Charter, Tech Nation, Tech.London, Women Who Code, Microsoft, Google, Tech London Advocates & more to ensure diversity within our programmes and to continue building a better platform in which female business leaders and practitioners can share their stories.
I have selected a few great pieces on people and culture within tech and just some examples of presentations in which brilliant female tech leaders have taken to the stage at a Roar Media event in the past.
